2 lanes (of 3) are closed on the M4 eastbound between J17 #Chippenham and J16 #Swindon.
This is due to a multi vehicle collision.
Wiltshire Police are on scene with National Highways traffic officers assisting with traffic management.
There are 20 minute delays on the approach
All lanes are now OPEN on the M4 eastbound between J17 #Chippenham and J16 #Swindon.
The #M48 #SevernCrossing is now OPEN in both directions.
'Up-and-over' closures remain in place at J1 and J2 to allow for the bridge to be closed promptly again if needed.

We're about to start the process of re-opening the #M48 #SevernCrossing as the wind speeds have now reduced to a safe level.
The 'up-and-over' closures will remain in place at J1 and J2 at this time in case the bridge needs to be closed promptly again.
